John Grisham's style of writing is captivating. It's like delicious warm butter melting in your mouth, with no effort it just dissolves on your tongue. Even if nothing's happening in a particular part of the book it's just so easy to read. However, in this book, there is a great deal happening. Eager to discover the history of the secret that Ray now carries you race through the book, only to find that of the way through the answer is given. There's a short feeling of disappointment as the excitement comes to a conclusion you're left wondering what's going to fill the remainder of the book. Well, don't worry, it hots up again and the book races off at a massive pace. This isn't a book that you will be picking up when you have a free minute to relax in the bath or garden, this is a book you will be reading whilst waiting at traffic lights! L |
