<*dv_2*>I love this album! <*dv_0*>It is quite hard to describe Tenacious D, but as long as you laugh and sing along, then you've got the gist. They also say motherfucker in it a lot, which is always good. There are comedy skits in between the songs, which since I've heard several times I just skip them. The actually songs are rock-y (not the long running series of films), and the lyrics appeal to my warped sense of humour. E.g. "Your sauce will mix with ours, and we'll make a good goulash baby." The band includes Jack Black the movie star, um, trust me - you'd know him if you saw him. My favourite tracks include Friendship; Fuck Her Gently; Tribute and Karate. "You broke the rules, now I'll pull out all your pubic hair" Anyhoo, I like this album, so be like me and buy it. |
