<*dv_0*>I've got a brain like a colander. It filters the crap out and keeps all the good stuff back. Unfortunately my brain seems to think that trivia is the good stuff - so where I couldn't tell you what I was doing at work last Wednesday, I can tell you that one of the actors in the 1970s kids' TV programme The Tomorrow People was called Peter Vaughan-Clark.

That's how it's been for most of my life - I've got the attention span of a gnat with something on it's mind, but I'm a great person to have on your team in a pub quiz<*dv_2*>. I'm still looking for a career where I can put that to use - I've a feeling it's going to be a long hunt.

In the meantime I keep busy by talking to myself - it's more like Tourette's than schizophrenia - and working on being slightly eccentric. I find that if people think you're eccentric you can get away with more. It's difficult to know where to draw the line between eccentric and just plain weird though, and I must admit I straddle that line regularly...
